Briz go top after victory over local rivals Knowle!

1 week ago By Steve Whitemore

Leigh Iles with 103* from just 64 balls and a solid 35* from Jacob Reeves helped Briz recover from 107-8 to a respectable 251-8 from 50 overs.

Iles big hitting innings which included 5 sixes and 10 fours to all parts of the ground took the game away from Knowle in the final 15 overs.
It was then the turn of the Brislington's young bowlers to show their class with Ethan Maule 4-24 and Sam Malone 4-8 skittling out the opposition out for just 56 runs in 20.2 overs.
