Umpiring & Scoring Courses

5 months ago By Steve Whitemore

Gloucestershire Cricket Board

Dear Club Chairmen, Secretary’s and Junior Leads,

This winter’s Umpiring and Scorers courses are now available to book on to. There is a great array of opportunities for people of all ages and experiences to get involved so please look within your club to see if you have people that can support and lead the game.

These courses are especially important at the moment as most leagues have initiatives in place to drive up the number of standing umpires so please do not ignore this email. The initiatives in some cases have bonus points attached whereas others have penalty points as the consequence of clubs not sending people, so please ensure you know what is being expected of your club by the league it plays in.

For information on the Umpiring Courses please visit http://www.gloucestershirecricketboard.com/associations/officials-gaco/umpire-courses/
For information on the Scorers Courses please visit http://www.gloucestershirecricketboard.com/associations/officials-gaco/scorers-courses/

If you have any queries regarding the courses then please be directed to Bob and Sue as they will undoubtedly have the answers:

- Umpiring – Bob Hampshire hampshires.timsbury@btinternet.com
- Scoring – Sue Drinkwater sue.drinkwater@gmail.com

Kind regards
Steve Silk
